Lost in all of the noise, nonsense, hyperbole and egos of the past two weeks something significant happened yesterday ....

From our little ol'club, started three full Dutch internationals - Vorm, JDG and Tiendalli, when Holland played and beat China 2-0 in Beijing (http://www.swanseacity.net/news/article/dutch-trio-860651.aspx). Currently ranked 5th in the world by FIFA, the Dutch squad is full of quality. This is a significant statement of the quality of these three players and of the Club itself - we had more starters than the mighty Ajax!

Congratulations to the three of them - Jacks in orange!

We may not see JDG at the Liberty again, but he and Tiendalli realized their dream of international recognition at the mighty Swans, and that will never be forgotten by them or us.

Yes, what a fantastic achievement this was! Absoloutley unthinkable not too long ago!
I haven't given up all hope on JDG yet, I know some don't want him back but I would welcome him definately.
Tiendalli has really been a revelation since joining us. Wasn't he without a club before signing...incredible!
But like you say, 3 jacks starting for the Netherlands is huge and shouldn;t be overshadowed by the off-field nonsense.

    Well said Yankee_Jack!!

Great achievement for them all. You do wonder why we can get three in the Dutch team, yet if your English you can't even get a sniff of a call up for the England team.
