    All a big mistake. Apparently Norwich offered a handful of millions, Celtic rejected it as £5m, Norwich meant £7m

    Saw this on Sky.

    Here are more details on Hull City’s bid for Celtic striker Gary Hooper. Steve Bruce is determined to land the highly-rated 25-year-old, who was the subject of keen interest from Norwich City in January. Norwich had four separate offers rejected by Celtic.

    Nice offer French Tickler but no thanks. That must be one of the worst losses on a player ever though, something has gone badly wrong for that situation to hav elasted most of the season (as if either of us cares!)

    I agree with this, Hooper is a much better player than Doyle, but Doyle will still do OK in the SPL.

    The difference is we got Aluko for nowt (That's nothing in Yorkshire language), the debate is whether Hopper is worth buying at circa 5m, which is a different kettle of fish.

    Yorkshire is about the same population of Scotland, I know that is nothing to do with it, but we did better than Scotland in the Olympics. Just thought I would say like.
