Due to the insane amount of transfer activity going around, the speed of everything that is happening and the names being linked, how are you feeling about it all? Everyone is a foreign name, in the main, not many of us have even heard of them. Obviously we need change, but is this, to much to fast, or are you happy to get it over and done with? Does anyone have any doubt over all this?
it looks like they are all targets which have been earmarked for some time. we're simply acting ahead of the game, for once. the sooner we get them all in and working together the better. i think it's definitely the right strategy.
No doubts at all mate. Still on the fence about PDC, I don't doubt his knowledge of the game for a second but it remains to be seen whether his mouth will hinder his progression like it did with Keano. But PDC aside, the new look structure is looking fantastic, headed by an astute businessman who's hired men with a proven track record of bring extra revenue into the football clubs they've worked at, not to mention their contacts. We're a lightyears ahead from when Murray sold up. The best thing of all for me is that even if PDC doesn't last, with the new setup, we don't have to start from scratch again like we've had to after countless previous managers. With regards to new recruits and next season, I'm not expect much, I think it will take a few years to see results from the new system. Mid table next year but happy days for those who wait.
We aren't going to get an answer until we start playing. See where we are after 10/12 games. Of course it could take longer than that or end up going tits up. But the general thinking is that we have been ****e in recent years and been as close to going down as you can get, (without going) so a new approach is needed and I think(ahem) we're gonna get one. Like it or not we've all got to get on board and pray for the best.
Although we seem to be signing players like mad, there's no guarantee that they'll all be starting matches straight away. We all know the squad's paper thin, so some may be signed to add depth and some seem to be development players. Until we see players that we don't expect to leave given the push, it's a case of wait and see. Personally, I'm happy to see the changes to staff and players alike.
The only reservations I have are for El Coto in Durham on Saturday. I think it's great to see us involved in transfers so early as opposed to leaving it late like we always seem to do.
you say not many , i think you will find most football fans have , if you just follow safc probably not. no doubt at all , about five years too late imo
Oh Stupid ****ing matelot, here we go again you ****ing homo up on the poop deck. I said 'not many' because that is a fact you tosser of jolly sailors.. Go on then ****wit, give us all a rundown, on all these new players then. I bet most have no or little information on them, but you seem to have the knowledge, so go on then, prove it. You are hardly a Poolie or Pecs, when it comes to foreign players. You only know the diameter of your sisters clout.
Free transfers are always better wrapped up quickly so they don't end up messing you around holding out until after the window etc. The rest of your business should be more strategic, I'd be worried about the amount of Italians you're being linked with, maybe a bit too much of a culture shock for them location and cuisine spring to mind. Paolo really needs to get it right, he's meticulous with his approach so I'm sure he'll be more prepared than any of you lot think, no stone unturned springs to mind but he won't get time to bed in a whole new squad, if he's going for an overhaul he could find out what **** looks like when it hits the fan, quickly.
not the answer you wanted then, off on a rant again being rude because you are ignorant. Why do you ask questions if nobody can reply without you throwing your dummy out of the pram.
May i divert you to your original answer, Then an insult. So cheese licker, where's the rundown on all these players then? The great oracle on **** all, i'm guessing, apart from how to preform felatio on your latest fella.
can you believe this , foreign players having a foreign name, well ,well, well, ha,ha,ha,ha,ha classic
Yet you still avoid my original question, requesting your greater knowledge and a rundown on all these new players. I'm sorry Bernard, (hope you don't mind your new name , but you remind me of him and his Norfolk farm for xmas birds) but you chose to come onto this thread with an insult towards myself, so don't have any self pity you sad individual.
Va fa Napoli!!! I think you'll find Sunderland has a thriving Italian community, and it is often referred to the Cagliari of the North.
Damn straight mate, my neighbour growing up, Gianni, swore that if he squinted Seaburn looked just like Florence. This may or may not be true, let's go with yes for the moment.
