So if nowhere is your destination, then get yourself down to the River Hull, it's been swinging backwards and forwards all morning apparently... please log in to view this image
I heard some people talking to Burnsy about it on Radio Humberside. The area as a whole needs developing. Something like Leeds centre or Manchester's Deansgate Locks would be good. Wouldn't hold my breath though. How much did it cost altogether? Wasn't it supposed to be finished and opened 3 years ago?
knowing Hull some toe-rag will have "tagged" it or spraypainted a massive cock on the side of it by then
It was supposed to open about a year ago and it's apparently cost £7m, it should be good once there's something on the other side(though it's quite useful if you're staying at the Premier Inn and you fancy a pint at Ye Old Black Boy).
from that pic it looks quite smart , is it manned then ? or is that a visitors centre ? considering im around these parts quite often taking pictures this is the first i knew of it
It's supposed to be a cafe, but as there's nothing on the other side and they're not expecting it to be heavily used yet, I doubt they'll find a tenant.
I had forgotten about the Black boy, do they still have the dart board on the door from the bar to the toilet, as you used to risk your life when exiting after having a pee.
i cant find a current news story , all i find is stories bemoaning the delays , im sure there must be something somewhere
I'm on black boy side of the river do I have to go across the bridge to get to black boy and come back again?
