I used to be heavily into the rave scene in the 90's... from car parks in forests to Galactica at Ripon and beyond.
Some of my favourite acts were:

    Shades of Rythum
    Prodigy
    Dream Frequency

and favourite DJ's at the time:

    Carl Cox
    DJ Sy
    DJ Slipmatt

Any of you boys remember the days?

Very much but I didn't go to raves as such, more free festivals where the likes of Spiral Tribe played.

    Some of my favourites:
Future Sound of London (under various names e.g. Mental Cube)
    Bizarre Inc
    Techno Grooves
    LFO
    Frank De Wulf
    N-Joi

in about 1993 I paid £195 for coach and accommodation to go to a Paris weekender, 2 nights with loads of top DJ's in 3 huge tents set up in a field. I remember Sven Vath absolutely destroyed his set, unbelievable atmosphere and banging tunes.
