That Gervinho has agreed a move here, apparently all but signed now.

Believe it? if it is true it's one helluva coup for a player who was only going to go to a CL team! Not sure what formation Pardew is planning next year with HBA and Cabaye coming back in and now possibly Gervinho... Possibly a 4-3-3? 4-4-1-1?

I'm still holding out hope for Gameiro as he would be my jizz if he signed! Proper striker, exactly what we desperately need!

 

With all this proposed jizzing and self mutilation of the genitalia; I'm deeply concerned about our mental state...

 

I suspect we will get either Gervinho or Gameiro but I tell you what if we get both I will empty the contents of my ball sack over and over until I all dried out

does leave us with the issue of what to do with nolan and Barton who would prob be interchangeable with Cabeye?

I think it's all too easy for people on twitter so take a story tweeted by someone else and retweet it with their own little spin on it so just 'cos everyone's saying it doesn't mean it's a done deal by any means.
Personally I still think there's a long way to go before he actually signs on the dotted line but if he does it's a very good day for NUFC 'cos it shows ambition on behalf of the owner/board/management and also shows that we can still attract the best talent from Europe

another article says we won't find out till the 6th of June due to international matches but all the signs are looking good,the article said that one of the major things we are getting bids excepted and why clubs want to do business with us is the fat ones insistence on paying up front .....all good imo

 

without sounding too pesemistic I think the fat one will be going for a one or the other tactic with gervinho and gamerio so tht dream midfield may be a tad different

And rotate Guti, Gervinho and HBA on wings.

 

With that attacking line-up, and maybe one improvement in the backline, we'd have a squad that could seriously contend next season!
But if all this news goes tits-up, I'll be disappointed! Damn the incessant positive news stories getting us optimistic...
