The only reason to listen - what a top man he is. Came across really well, has this club been served better by any other player over a 10 year period?
I like sports talk, it was good to hear andy come across as a normal bloke and not a fella with a massive ego.
Tonight it was good for once. I only listened to it because I found out Dawson was on. I never listen to it normally.
Daws was first class on RHumbs tonight. No edge, no ego, courteous, humorous, and very modest too. He was a model of how to behave as a professional sportsman. His love for our club shone right through the programme. I was taken aback slightly by his comments on Pearson, but he gave credit where credit was due. Fair play, he was at the coalface when Pearson was in charge. Scunthorpe are lucky to have him back on board, and good luck to him and them next season!
Thanks so much for the link mate, I really enjoyed listening to it. He came across as a very unassuming and dedicated man. I wish him well.
No. The testimonial game is to make money for the Daisy appeal, the Ahly one is to make money for the victims of the Port Said disaster.
Has Dawson gone to Scunthorpe then? If so, I reckon the Testimonial will be against them. Plays a half for each side.
It'd make sense, but we're trying to make as much money from it as possible which would be better achieved by playing a top side.
X, you have a point as I love Chillo, but he didn't play 10 years, have three promotions and play ( successfully in my eyes) in the Premier League
