Park Ji-sung Voted QPR's Worst Player of Season by British Media Park Ji-sung is having one of the toughest moments in his professional career, with more British media pouring scorn on his meager achievements since moving to Queens Park Rangers. Online football site Caught Off Side posted an overview of how each team had fared in this season's English Premier League on Saturday, and voted Park as QPR's worst player. The club was relegated to the second-tier Championship at the end of the season. "There are almost too many to choose from, but Park Ji-sung was a big disappointment after arriving from Manchester United," it wrote. "Many were surprised to see this key player sold by United, but he contributed nothing to Rangersâ cause despite being made captain with [a] glittering career and experience of winning." We all have our moments but let's face it ...........to say Park Ji-sung had a poor year would be a gross understatement. If he was getting paid 'commission only' for his efforts, you would of seen him weekly at the local agency collecting unemployment benefits. If you or I took the type of money he was earning from our employers for the same efforts, we'd be up on fraud charges. Tell everybody that your a professional football player and all is forgiven, fraud is only for us commoners. Apart from that, he's one heck of a dam nice fellow.
Hi, just back from holidays...... No Boswinga much worse....due entirely to his poisonous attitude. Park tried but didn't infect the rest of the squad , like Bootswinger did
Can be absolutely no argument with that award. He was our worst signing for many years, and AF is probably laughing like a drain at selling us a player who should have been given a freee bus pass two years ago. I said so in August, and he confirmed it continually, nearly all season until about the last month when he seemed to have at least got fit enough to keep up with the game for 50 minutes! Bosingwa is a good player, one of the better ones we had last season even if he wasn't putting in 100% - he could do far more with 50% effort than Park could even if he had taken his keep buzzing pills.
Amen Flyer I agree with that and sorry but from a footballing perspective: Green's kicking and general positioning, Hill's mistakes and lack of vision and pace add to that Zamora's one style of play IMO come before park and Bosingwa. Bosingwa and Park haven't shown the fans the right grit that the majority want ... that don't make them bad footballers ... sorry they aren't. I would also add to the list: Junior Hoilett, Granero and esp Mbia who's mistakes cost us ... even add Cesar come to that. as players the club is in a mess ... no team at all .. the biggest failure was clearly Harold
They were very bad footballers for us and that's all that really matters to me as a QPR supporter. Disgraceful that you should even mention Clint Hill as a comparison IMO. And you still persist in denigrating HR while conveniently overlooking the efforts of your old mate MH who was responsible for bringing these two jokers to our club in the first place.
Hill made loads of mistakes, I like him and he tries hard but I do not want him back, same goes for Derry. Right characters, wrong age and talent level.
Taarabt, Mackie, Remy (with obvious reservations depending on his case) and Faurlin are the only ones Id be disappointed to see leave. Everyone else can do one as far as Im concerned.
No I in team - Taarabt has the talent but the commentary going off in his own head means that he'll not gel with any team shape until he matures up and puts his ego down. Mackie, talented enough for the championship is one of the very few players who digs in deep for the team cause and will help the club push again for a better position. Remy's in the game for a better contract elsewhere so I'd be shocked if he were in it much longer and Faurlin might be able to reignite the form that he showed a couple o' seasons ago BUT until there is sensible management in place, even these have to be considered dead ducks...
Sorry QPAAAAGH .. love Hill for his attitude as i do Mackie but with both these players deep down they have many failings and both Park and Bosingwa are IMO much better players ... Bosingwa's composure with the ball on the majority was very good IMO and Park running off the ball and work rate again very good. I don't think Harold is right for QPR and I will stand by that ...Hughes I think will come good at Stoke. Bosingwa and Park may not have worked out to all our high expectations in a team drained of confidence. I firmly believe they were made scapegoats once Hughes had gone ... people need to channel their frustrations somewhere? I would love hear how you may think Harold has been good for us? I said i would wait until the season is over and then have my say on here ... when it kicks off again then i will back whoever is managing our club.
