Is he out of our league?

Looks like he's leaving the Toon.

Didn't have a good season last but look at his CV and you'll see he's a 20 goal a season striker in the right team....maybe with a hefty signing on fee and/or good bonus incentive?

hmmm, would he fit into playing the leading man? Or does he do better with a partner?
I've been holding my breath for a few years that our youth system will produce a striker for us. Chances?

Definitely NO for me. Having worked with a few Muslims and touching on what Vetch has said it definitely would not stop there. Also there's always the Aftican Nations cup to consider and it wouldn't help having a player unavailable for that reason either

Seriously! Muslims don't believe in paying interest on money they borrow but he wears a shirt with Virgin money on it.
So I am led to believe, Muslim banks loan money but do not charge interest, they ask the borrower to make a donation on top of what they borrowed. Sounds like paying interest to me.

Cisse ? decent player but would never sign for us because we don't pay the going rate for a 13-20 goal a season striker <ok>

    Yes this ^^^^^^ Exactly.

Also Muslims are not to gain any interest from any money they save up. We all know someone on here who has told me before he knows this is a load of rubbish too.

...just like their poxy religion then. Don't get me started.

Papisse Cisse scored probably the best goal in Prem history v Chelsea last year but his wages would be too high for us and he'll go to a bigger club imo. Would like to see him here though.

There's nothing wrong with their religion , it's how some of their fanatics interpret it .

"There's nothing wrong with their religion".

    How long have you got?

Islam lays down extremely strict behaviour codes,i.e., interest on monies invested is haram(not allowed),profit sharing is;no pork can be eaten;no alcohol consumed;no gambling;it's O.K. to beat your wife;all non believers are surplus to requirements and are to be killed;in some Muslim counties girls are raped with impunity, and it's ALWAYS the girls fault, and she quite often pays with her life;honour killings are the norm and those responsible are rarely held to account, etc. In fact, the perpetrators of those heinous crimes brag about it and are very highly thought of. Great stuff,eh. Oh to be a Muslim man, sounds like utopia?

Now I know many African Muslims who drink, gamble, womanise. I never met one who beat his wife,or killed anyone, but there again, I've never lived in Pakistan,Saudi,or Bradford!!!

So,"there's nothing wrong with their religion"???

Treading thin ground gents. In my opinion this is a man issue, as it is man's interpretation that ruins ALL religion.

Back to the OP, I suggest.

It's not just about "interpretation" swim. What's to interpret in "it's O.K. to beat your wife, and non believers should be killed". Sounds clear enough to me.

Getting back to the OP,Cisse will go where he will get paid a lot of money, and that will not be The Liberty.

Spot on. Read the Suras in the Qu'ran. I have. Very very scary. Like most religious people they pick and choose, whether it's the Bible or the Qu'ran. You don't actually need either to have a moral compass. The idea that fanatics use a 'warped version' of Islam is simply not true. They are actually interpereting the Qu'ran literally.

As for thin ground, I'm sorry but relgion should not be above criticism. Try reading Richard Dawkins. <ok>

I disagree. Your sweeping statements are bordering on racist,

I for one will not contribute further on this, it is only going to end up one way.

Carry on if you want, but I tried ....

    "Try reading Richard Dawkins".

Together with Christopher Hitchens;Sam Harris;Pat Condell. U Tube is the place to go to see these people in action.

"You don't actually need either to have a moral compass"

    I fully concur.

    "Religion shouldn't be above criticism".

    Again,I fully concur.

    "Racist"???

Surely not. You are of course not bound to "contribute further",but no hint of racism on display here. So it must be for some other reason.

Excellent chance, I highly rate Alex Samuel and think he has the potential to be a senior for the Swans. :)
