Sorry to post another bad news thread. My wife has been diagnosed with breast cancer, luckily it's been caught early and after a 2nd examination today it doesn't appear to be spreading, we're hoping to get a date for an operation this week. My cousin who works at LR and is a lifelong QPR fan is doing a charity walk for breast cancer, I'm not asking for anyone to donate I just thought I'd bring this to your attention. http://www.justgiving.com/Juliette-Bishop Thankyou for reading p.s. Sorry I forgot the O/T in the title
Sorry to hear that Gaz, best wishes for a full and speedy recovery. My sister-in-law has just got over it and has just cast off her wig a couple of months after completing chemo. She was caught early and things look good at the moment. Stay positive mate, they can beat it these days...
Best wishes and good luck with everything going forwards for the wife Gaz. Hope everything turns out OK.
Keep strong. You're in for an unpleasant few months, but the long term outcomes for breast cancer are now really good, especially having caught it early.
I've had two good friends in the passed 3 years diagnosed with this, both are well leading full lives, looking great and both say they feel better now than before with a brighter outlook on life, the best to both of you.
I know what she is going through Gaz, but trust me you learn to live with it. Along with Prostrate Cancer in men, Breast cancer in women is the most treatable so all should hopefully be fine. I found the McMillan website very helpful and worth her joining the BC forum, to speak to others going through the same thing. It helped a lot with me. Take care bruv and look after her.
