    KCOM shares up nearly 10% today.

    Anyone know why ?

    I still have all my KCOM shares.

    Never sold when they peaked years ago.

    If any of you want any advice on stocks and shares, don't listen to me :steam:

    To be fair, my Next shares have shown more return than KCOM would have.

    I still have some of mine as well from the original IPO.

    Sold some when they were at £15 - just enough to keep under the CGT threshold for that tax year.
    I cocked-up because I realised later the shares were in joint name with the wife and I could have sold a lot more.
    Then the price started to slide and decided to hold on.

    Cost me about £10k that over-sight.

    Hey-ho.

    I know some folk that bought at the top of the market and are showing BIG losses.
