You may be right there Jager. I thought the Mail, Western Mail, Wales on Sunday and the Guardian were both owned by DMG (Daily Mail and Gereral Trust) but I'm not 100% sure so don't go betting on it.
Theres a veiled attack in there. Sounds as though some targets have been demanding big cash - but the Board are sticking to their principles. It depends how you read it.
Ivor, Laudrup is not in UK and so he's not available for comment. He is 'somewhere in Europe' with our chief scout. I believe he is not talking to the media due to the alleged tax accusations aimed at him (although I believe this is soon to be resolved with an out of court payment TO Laudrup from Ajax holding company). This is what I've heard. The press know he's not available for comment and this has given them an open page to write their headlines on, any headline as no one is available to counter it. Problem is that the spiral of un-attributed quotations from un-named sources mesmerizes the reader and we begin to believing its spin to be the truth. Plenty more of this kind of bull to come I'm afraid, we, with ML are a huge target now.
It should be.."we use to play the most attractive game in the premiership" if you listen to football pundits who made them statements then that has changed....I hope we can get back to playing attractive football again.. " Jinx dont half make a prat of himself sometimes. "There is no rift with the manager" my foot. he must think we are all stupid or something.. come on and get your act together and lets get some players who laudrup wants in before its to late...
Must say I breathed a big sigh of relief when I just came in and Sky sports news had the canas deal all done on my screen, brilliant, so whatover the difficulties were, must now be resolved, also good to hear Huw saying there is a sizable war chest, lets hope the bookies odds drift now from 2/1 on for Laudrup to leave, man what a relief, I was having kittens!.................... please log in to view this image Stumpy I think you have the measure of the press mate, shall take a leaf from your book!.............
Glad to see this good news has upset the resident scouser on this board who still can't say a good word about anything to do with our club. I bet any good news just breaks his heart
Canas is not signed yet mate,e cant sign until the end of the month, people believe what they want to believe don't they .
That`s true Norway, a lot can happen between now & the start of next month. But it`s still a bit of positive news.
what good news?? our village idiot is stirring again ....you take anything jinx says with a pinch of salt...have you not learned that by now...jesus..
If you are reffering to me Dai, where did I say good news? I am also not Jesus, and I take most things with a pinch of salt please log in to view this image
I can't apologise for something I chose not to get involved in much, I said that Evening Post would never get wind of the type of info they spewing because that is internal policy. Still, Dai was pretty convinced and as something with links you'd have thought he'd know that they were on holiday and hence it was phones down time! The whole supposed argument thing and low funds, it was rubbish. I challenge anyone of you to text sky, or email the Sun or the Mirror, tell them that Swansea are going after Jonathan Williams as their flagship signing. It will be in the news the next day!
