Well if it wasn't for work, I'd move back to Swansea in a heart beat. Don't get this trashing Swansea lark, Swansea is my City and I fcuking loves it.

spot on neveroff, i loves it too! can't wait for August when me, mrs honky and the honky kids are all back for two weeks! there's a lot of creativity in Swansea, always has been, it's in our blood - whether it's music, the fine arts or even sport - it's no surprise that our beloved swans play the game the way they do - its the way the people of swansea expect, same with the way our egg chasers try to play - the beautiful way. the biggest hurdle we've faced is lack of patronage. swansea seems a very apt choice for city of culture
We should all get behind this a support this, it's OUR City after all. NO need to give the enemy and ammunition to slag our City off.

get them boarded up shops back to life and not with charity or betting shops. fill in the potholes all over swansea and put police sub stations back on every estate to curtail all the drug culture and vandalism that is everywhere and maybe we would be worthy of a city of culture.....Nobody cares anymore or takes pride in where they live. the few who do gets whatever they do destroyed so its not worth the effort....swansea is called the ugly ****ty city but its even worse than that now if you look around....my home city and its a disgrace.....

I lived in Ibiza for 3 years and the Gower is every bit as pretty. Worth living here just for that. Every place has it's ****heads, it's about making the most of your environment. If you moan about everything it doesn't matter where you live, you'll always be unhappy.
