In a surprise move that shocked ...no one, He's announced he's back http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/22752817 What are your thoughts on this shock appointment eh?
Well what a surprise. I am probably one of few. But, I think the bloke is a complete arogant ****er and didnt want him back in the PL. Hope he fails badly.
It'll make things interesting. Another big personality in the PL and another to visit the Liberty. It seems lots of people say he shouldn't go back and look what happened with Dalglish and Keegan when they went back for second spells. Personally I think there is no comparison between those managers and Mourinho. Mourinho has been a success almost everywhere whereas the others were not in the same league as him. It will depend on if he gets along with Abramovic that will be a huge factor really. I'm happy that he will be back - if just for the nonsense that surrounds him. Plus my mum thinks he's hot.
When ML leaves we could not do much better than get Mourinho. Cut from a different cloth to ML in terms of personality, but he's a winner everywhere he has been and technically I think he's a very good coach.
Well I'm looking forward to him coming back. He's a great character, and full of himself. I prefer him to old Bacon face.
A great character and will be an asset to the Premier League - he loves controversy and always makes the headlines. Behind that Mourinho is a top manager - his record proves that. Having said that I am not sure his second spell will be as successful as his first. When he first went to Chelsea he went on a spending spree that put Chelsea at the forefront of European Clubs. Since then Chelsea have moved down the rankings in terms of expenditure with Man City having more clout. With SAF leaving and Man City in managerial turmoil there could be an opening for Chelsea to win the title - but my gut reaction says they won't. Whatever happens - it will be an interesting season at The Bridge.
Man Utd will win the league. Can see them signing either Ronaldo or Bale, plus a top CM player to replace Scholes.
As one of the finest students of world football, do you think Mourinho will ask Laudrup for his autograph.......
I was completely shocked by this appointment, really came out of the blue. I must say i have a feeling chelsea might win the league next season too.
"but he brings a certain style to the game". Nah,he's a poor man's Sousa!!! Seriously,he does have style,no doubt about it,and the PL will be a more interesting place, especially as The Timex Kid is no longer going to bore us to death.
Thats the premiership for Chelsea next year with a deep penetration, oo err Mrs, in the Chamions League.
