i think both him and other players were played before time in respect to the injuries received, im no expert but with catts you could see he was not right when he had to depart , was it the case that even the medical side of things was in a shambles as with other aspects of the club,......... i blame oneil
We've been shambolic with dealing with injuries long before O'neil and do you know why? Cause we'd had the same medical team in for 8 years through multiple managers. Most of that medical team joined in 2005. The Rehab Physio had been here since 2002! So no not MoN's fault. It's been a dangerous fault in our club infrastructure for the best part of a decade. Does anybody know If we've got shot of them. One would hope so.
Seem to remember seeing something about changes on the medical side of things. Just a snippet & can`t remember where I saw it.
Could both be right but how much would it cost to have got rid of the medical staff? Was it the managers decision? Are the issues with rehab the teams' fault or the injuries - have the injuries been worse than we think? Awful lot of variables involved for me - as an outsider it looks bad but none of us know the whole story
From what paolo has been saying, players weren't even bothering to turn up for treatment or deciding when to leave the table
I do hope so as it's clearly been a problem. I think it's part managers and part Ellis. In Ellis' defence he's probably still learning how to run a football club. Managers won't have known the medical staff at first and trusted the infrastructure so only made adjustments to immediate coaching staff. Begs the question, could managers do with some medical training? neither Bruce or MoN made changes once they realised there's a problem. Did PDC bring this to Ellis' attention? Or was Ellis already on it as part of club overhaul? PDC will put a stop to that thank god. I just hope it's sorted as it been a massive part of our downfall. Catts should have had his Operation long before Christmas, he was never sent in january and no replacement was signed.
Barbo come on down, and **** off. You have been canny in the past, now just a ****, so **** off, hope some cnut will pay for you.
This might be what I was thinking of - http://www.safc.com/news/club-news/2013/april/di-canio-shapes-backroom-staff A new fitness coach and masseur. Get them fit and keep them fit. Theoretically should be less susceptible to injuries in the first place and to sort out the niggles. PDC has obviously seen them in action & must be confident they can help. Don`t know who the leavers are.
catts i fear was urged to play in my belief much before his readiness to try and stop the rot which had dug deep into the sides fourtunes, you could see by his gait he was not capable of playing to any degree of what was needed at this level. knowing catts as we do , of course if asked to give it a go he would and did so with the end result was to lose him for the rest of the season and possibly some of next....i blame oneil
every thing ,house prices ,vat, the health service you name it its his fault....catts coming back far to early to try and dig him out of the mess he had got us into and the most boring football man has ever seen since the beginning of time its self , beer prices, council tax, immigration, oh yes and the weather................... i blame oneil
