Could we ever have a current England International in our squad?

If ****ing James Milner and Glen Johnson can get into the International squad, it wouldn't surprise me if I made it into the England squad.

Bullard without injuries would have been more than good enough for England

Doesnt Dixon play for the under 17's with regularity? Maybe if he keeps it up and we hold on to him he will be our first.

Why not.? James Chester could be the first if he plays like we know he can next season.

Now that John Terry and Rio Ferdinand are Internationally retired England are not blessed with many options as replacements. Other than Jagielka we only have average talent in that position imo.

He was in the squads for the U18s and U20s but I don't think he ever made an appearance.

England should never pick a player from the lower half of the league, if they have any ambition of actually winning something at International level.

Therefore, we'd have to wait a while.

Not if he plays like he did during the latter half of last season.

A good job Alf Ramsey had more sense than to think like that.

Thats great mate! I love Jack Hobbs, it's not impossible he could get into the England squad as we aren't all that these days at the back with the likes of Lescott and Jagielka and co.
