Nothing to do with Fergie or tactics mate, the players lost their composure for a while (not very professional i know) but once they calmed down they battered Madrid for the remainder of the game.

im not saying united wont have a chance of winning the title but i think moyes has a tough act to follow and it will take him time. lets face it hes a great manager with the jobs at Preston and Everton but hes not won a title and jose has! you never know its probz gunna be the closet ever it has been. the thing is fergi knew what was needed to win the title. thats why united ran away with it and deserved it. if chelsea dont win the title i hope united do because i frinkin hate city.

I think you all are ruling out United already. Moyes hasn't even officially taken over yet and you lot are ruling him out already.

Sir Alex picked Moyes, So if the best manager in the league picked Moyes, he must have a good reason, he saw something in him, he even said Moyes reminds him of himself sometimes. Also Sir Alex will always be there if Moyes needs help too. SO Unless your saying that You know more then Sir Alex and start ruling Moyes out is pathetic.

Fergie loves Man Utd, if he thought Moyes is not a good choice and he won't win trophies at United and won't be challenging for the title, he would not have picked him. Moyes already had a meeting with Sir Alex and Ryan Giggs.

Also i just read some idiot saying Mourinho knocked Barca off their perch? Really? is that person really being serious? Barca had their manager in hospital most of the games in the league this season and they still managed win the league EASILY. Still mourinho is one of the best coach in the world, Chelsea will be a title challenge next season but so will United. It will be a three horse race next season.

You should learn one thing, Never rule out United. Without Sir Alex we will still be a force. Moyes will make signings too.

Because David Moyes i Sir Alex's choice. As always

    In Sir Alex we trust!

Moyes is a good manager, no doubt about that. You do not compete with the top sides a s well as he has on a shoestring, selling most talent along the way and having to rebuild. Fergie always gets accolades for being able to rebuild a squad, Moyes has done similar a couple of times at Everton. However the real issue here is experience, this is what got Fergie through time after time, against Newcastle, Liverpool (under Rafa) and again this season. That is the value that Fergie brought, whether Moyes can build that remains to be seen. I think thats what other fans are sceptical of, not writing Utd off, but its a fact that Moyes has worked (exceptionally it must be said) without pressure or expectations.

But he hasn't. He's competed for an average 8th place which is lower than Evertons league average of 7th. Virtually never beat any of the top 4. Sir Below Average.

If by some miracle United beat Chelsea and the special one to the premier league title next season will you still be using this hillarious nick name?

If you finish outside the top six will you revert back to being a Liverpool fan?

Jeez, I gave you the benefit of more intelligence than warranted it seems, I thought you might be able to stretch your thinking without the need for it to be spelled out! Moyes has consistently been the best manager outside of the top 5 for some years now, despite operating on a shoestring, having a small squad, selling their top talent, playing with virtually no strikers etc... Of course he has won nothing, its virtually impossible to do so without proper investment, although he did get Everton close a couple of times.

He is also responsible for bringing a host of talent through the youth ranks and developing players. He has overachieved with the hand he had dealt to him, done all that could realistically be expected and more. Its not about Moyes vs Fergie, Wenger, Mancini or whoever, its about a squad of players assembled on a shoestring against another squad assembled with vast resources season after season, being able to sell whenever it suits YOU, overhauling the squad if needed, spending when you have an injury crisis, need an injection of fresh talent, when players get old or start to under-perform. What did you expect?

Kept them a premier league side, took them to the FA Cup final and brought through some rather good players.

I mean hes adored by Everton fans so he must of done something good.

That is all well and good but has zero to do with the FACT I gave you. Moyes has been a below average manager even by Everton standards.

That was a waste of typing, he has found a statistic from which he can make up a "funny" name. It could be five or six years until he grows out of these things.
