According to todays gossip columns he is wanted as Hughes first signing.
I would usually take such things with a pinch of salt however my real shock was we were linked to a left back.
You can see that times are changing that would never happen under TP lol

 

I thought we were still linked with Olsson as well as Pieters?

 

We were heavily linked with Pieters in January before he punched a dug out and damaged his arm. Maybe he'd be a Cartwright signing?

 

Do any of u guys no anything about him wud u want us to sign him

 

if he plays left back he will be better than anyone we have at the moment, sign him up

Well we need fullbacks but he would need to keep his anger in check as he''ll get sent off a lot otherwise.

Supposedly Strootman or Willems could also be included in the deal.

 

I thought Coates was going to be careful what he was letting Hughes spend?
This suggests to me that Begovic is going and the money we are getting for him will counter balance the money going on the 10 mill player.

 

We certainly don't want to see Hughes spending vast sums of money as he did at QPR, Coates wants to curtail that sought of expenditure unless balanced by equivalent player sales. Mind you if the Gunners want to buy N'Zonzi for £12million and Bego does leave for around £15 million then £27 million ought to buy us several newcomers to fill the gaps caused by Pulis.

 

Well there is talk of a £15 million combined fee for Pieters and Strootman.

Strootman will lock down our defense and midfield and Pieters will help with defence

 

Now we could do with news on wingers.
