    Depends what you define as 'big' ... Its not a big organisation, but its not an organisation many people are proud to have around. I watched a program about them a year or so ago and from what I can tell, there are some who were originally involved who were there for positive reasons (basically trying to rein in the overly-PC trends emerging i.e. calling christmas decorations 'holiday lights' or banning the hanging on flags/bunting on St George's Day) but this soon descended into nonsensical racist, anti-Islamic rhetoric spewing riots, led by numpties with very little else to do with their time!

    Aside from the fact that he's obviously an ignorant facist, why would the EDL be the first thing he chooses to write when entering a name?! I chose my name after the Coloccini chant, he chose his after his deep seeded hatred for other races and cultures

    kudos for changing it. hope you appreciate we don't like that sort of thing. but, obviously, if you're just talking football related stuff and there's no mention of political views or any terminology deemed offensive, then it shouldn't be a problem.
    we are all here for football talk after all. can't exclude a man from that just because of his political views.

    This. Everyone is entitled to an opinion and a right to vote. What you do with yours is your own prerogative. Just as long as its not waved around like a flag or used to cause offense to others it shouldn't matter.

    Yeah that sounds like an inevitability with that sort of thing, from looking at photographs I've not seen one person who doesn't look like a cheap lager swilling cave dweller. Shame there's always people out to make an idiot of themselves and stir up rubbish needlessly.
