Just back from the concert at the Emirates top band wasn't overly impressed with the ground mind think Highbury had more about it.
Anyway the band played for two hours solid which was nice and did some of the old Dookie stuff as well, win win for me now in the hotel after a couple of night caps and off to schlafen. Doing Camden market tomorrow then off home.
    Sleep well lads. :D

Emirates is the best stadium in the country for me. Went off Greenday when they went political and now he's a bloke in his 40's wearing guyliner. They haven't evolved as a band to stay relevant imo.

Sounds like you had a blast though which is the most important thing

Loved 1039, kerplunk, dookie, insomniac and nimrod.

That era they were one of my favourite bands.

Unfortunately they sold out and very rarely play tracks from these albums at all. Such a shame

Im sorry to say that I have never heard of them, but as I always have Classic FM on my radio it is hardly surprising..

Thats normally how bands go. Bands early stuff when they really have the desire/motivation/message etc, usually shows in the music. I recently started listening to Fall Out Boys first album. It is great. Not heard the new stuff, and the stuff before their break was awful.
