same here, we need both sides sorting. We're linked with an Argentine left back, Villareal also want him.
I think its a big mistake dumping Bardsley too. The lad has been nothing but totally committed to SAFC during his time and always gives everything. He has had a poor season due to injuries but seems to have been made a scapegoat after one mistake. When you talk about players with the right stuff, Bardsley fits the bill totally. He has been two times fans player of the season in his time here which tells you lots. I think this will come back and bite us next season and is major mistake by PDC.
Tricky one. Personally, i think he'll be staying unless a club tries to buy him, there will be no paying of contracts for anyone, including the knacker Brown.
Can't pay off his contract like. Just can't. With brown, well depends on his current fitness. He was back running at the end of the season. if he is crocked hope we can come to an arrangement.
Bardsley was crap last season, and doesn't seem half the player he once was following his injury problems. In my view he needed replacing regardless of his disciplinary problems..
Hull on a free was being talked about recently. Lot of time for him, as he gave it all he had, all the time. But he's way past his best now.
By his own standards Bardsley had a poor season last year but, like others, he was returned too quickly after injury and this had the effect on his average performances. He has guts and gives everything to the team and apart from his antics at the wrong time he is being harshly criticised.
Not the best idea for quite a left sided player. Left back yes, he could do an excellent job. I think it would be a travesty to loose Bardo. I think he is one of the most improved players I've ever seen. A real 100 per Center. Very difficult to find that kind of player
I disagree, last time he was in his final year of his contract he trained through summer, had a belting season and won a new contract. from then on he's been ****, gone were the season break conditioning he did when he needed the contract. Now low and behold he's going to try and fight to stay and show we should keep him. Sound familiar? He only pulls his finger out when he's staring at the exit door. It's a prime example of we do not want or need at our club imo.
He's a tough cookie but is a limited footballer Regardless of his abilities though, he has tested the manager and will now pay the price See ya
