Haway lads, it's a good cause. https://www.change.org/en-GB/petiti...on_alert&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=25792&
Done mate. I still can't believe that a crowd of about 50 people were there and nobody thought to rush the scum ****s.
That was my initial thoughts I couldn't believe there were people just standing around watching and obviously some recording on mobiles. If that had happened up here they'd both have had the ****e kicked out of them I reckon.
Why does there have to be an online petition to give someone a medal these days, just give them it ffs.
Signed My Mum (Mam for you lot), used to work with the lady 20 odd years ago, who left work when she was pregnant (with the younger lady that helped Lee Rigby). Small world, eh?
might not go down too well here but i have just been reading up on it and sorry but i dont think they deserve it at all, its the equivilant to the Victoria Cross. (only 406 since 1940 have been giving out) They deserve a medal but not this one im afraid.
Agreed. What they did was certainly brave but if you read some of the G.C. citations it doesn`t really compare.
Very, very brave women. Not for us to say what they should and should not get but if I was a wealthy man they would be spending time on my yacht down Monaco way.
is granted in recognition of: acts of the greatest heroism or of the most conspicuous courage in circumstances of extreme danger. There's no doubt it was stand out bravery, there were many many others in the street and it was these ladies who stepped up. They'd just witnessed a man being hacked up by men who were still in possession of their weapons. Clear meets the criteria like, they must be in with a shout.
