    @ Teesidemackem - Not to sure what took me so long, signed up to see pictures especially for the one of Alan Shearer! Loved it. Btw I live in teeside too. Just got back from morrisons in T park actually.

    Tried to post a few times thanking and saying i cannot wait for the banter but keeps saying needs verifying.
    Also teeside mackem I dont know what took me so long! haha, im also from teeside, billingham actually.

    Ah Billie, champions of redevelopment inthe 60's/70's. You don't still live there do you?

    I saw a Pantomine in Billingham once, we used to play footie in the big gym and NUFC were training that day.

    Yeah the developers the the hay day, shame it's a dive now but they did redevelop the forum and its pretty good.
    I was brought up in billingham then moved 3 times before coming back, once to Stockton the norton ( beaconsfield road, aka beacy bank) then to boro.
    No place like home eh? Hehe.

    Before they opened Sunderland Leisure Centre, one of my uncles used to take me and his son (my cousin) there for the day, usually on Sundays. We would go to the baths, which had diving boards in those days, and the ice rink, while he would spend the afternoon in the sauna..
