I'm currently reading egg chaser "Brian Moore's beware of the dog" on my brothers recommendation. Generally I prefer fiction and like; John Grisham, Ben Elton and Ian Rankin. But my favourite book is probably "Are you Dave Gorman". The only books I've ever read more than once are the lord of the rings, whilst at school and then again around the time of the movies. Generally I tend to think that like travelling the world. There is so many great places and great books why see or read them more than once? This does not apply to favourite Pubs and beers! (Although trying new ones is always good fun too!)
About 500 odd pages actually. It went into all the murders in quite a lot of detail as well as looking at other murders that could have been Jack the Ripper and also looked at all the main suspects
I'll have to give it a look, the last one I read was one of the Theodore Boone ones and I thought it was a bit weak imo. I read most of his earlier ones up to I think "the last juror" but by then I was a bit Grished out! I might start again with the litigators. Fav has to be the firm, even the movie was half good for that one. The rest of the films were a little rubbish (except I quite enjoyed pelican brief, though that may have been because of Ewans sister!) Bah!
Agreed that Grisham films are not good but like you I thought both The Firm and Pelican Brief were O.K. The Theodore Boone stuff is for kids really and I got caught out just the same. You can get Grished out as he went through a phase of seeming to churn them out and I also took a raincheck at that time, but The Litigators is really good and the character descriptions are excellent. His wit is also to the fore and oils a really good plot imo. Robert Harris is another good author thinking about it. The Ghost, Pompeii and The Fear Index all recommended.
