Well the PL has been finished for all of 2 weeks and already 2 England friendlies this week, and though playing Ireland and Brazil will be entertaining to a degree. Is anybody actually botherd about these matches or is it more games to add to our players after a hectic season? Suppose it will atleast break up the lack of football till new season!

  10. Clubs spend all season complaining that there are too many games but as soon as the season finishes we see clubs going of on tours and international games being played. Makes no sense <doh>

Haha I don't see the problem they have to play the friendliest at some point? It's not affecting your cricket either!'

Do we need a twelve month football season?

    No, not really.

I just don't understand the 'addiction' some of the posters claim to have on here. I get bored of football by the end of the season and, as was mentioned on another thread, the season starts too early and ends too late. And the players are all utter ****s.

England playing a 4-4-2 again... What a surprise.

Hart, Johnson, Cole (C), Carrick, Cahill, Jagielka, Walcott, Lampard, Sturridge, Rooney, Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Spot on, mate - I think international friendlies are a waste of time - what benefit are they to anyone?

    waste of time.

Playing 400 friendlies a season clearly isnt helping england.
