These guys are just dicks and should know better. Don't f*ck around with this stuff and for christ sake don't broadcast it on social media - Naughton and Bassong need a severe private reprimand. I despair of these overpaid tw*ts.

Can anybody see a common denominator in all of this? Is Norwich City just a front for arms dealing?

On a serious note, for all the people who say it doesn't matter as he was in his own garden, hasn't he been done before for something like this but in public?

He got stopped by the police and they found an offensive weapon; some sort of baton that he carried in his car. He got a tiny fine for it.

What has Naughton done wrong exactly?

Posted a picture of himself, with a gun, and ammo AT A GUN CLUB.

Regardless of whether you like or dislike guns (I personally have a passionate dislike for them) he has done absolutely nothing wrong.

I think it is a disgrace that these players are expected to live in a social prison cell just because they are rich and famous.

They have done nothing wrong, does Daniel Craig get grief for appearing in films where he shoots people?

    People need to grow up.

It just isn't very bright is it? go to a gun club, fire your guns in private and there is no problem. What is the point of them posting on social media if it is not to cause a rumpus. That is my point and I don't think that you can argue against it - there is no plus side. And if Danile Craig posed on social media with guns then the same comments apply, let's compare like with like.

Very true. Carrabuh, most Bond films are rated 12 or equivalent, and by that age most kids - even those from Sheringham, have learned to tell reality from fantasy. Bond is clearly acting a role in his violent films, whereas Bassong and Naughton could easily be taken out of context by youngsters.

Its not Bassong or Naughtons responsibility to bring up other peoples children not to like guns.

And while Bassong and Naughton cannot pose with guns in a perfectly legal manner for fear of setting the wrong example to children, on Page 3 they have the other excellent role model for kids.

As I've said before, its irrelevant news engineered to suit the times.
