Still getting mixed signals. Wants to play for City but things uncertain. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11714/8734054? WBA (Premier Club) and Blackburn (Silly money) in for Elmo. http://www.thisishullandeastriding.co.uk/story-19088705-detail/story.html?#axzz2UJiOJV6D
That thisishullandeastriding article is interesting. We're apparently willing to pay £10m for Rhodes.
This made me chortle: http://www.shieldsgazette.com/sport...-fee-for-sunderland-flop-elmohamady-1-5718461
Interesting article - Paolo Di Canio might affect his move: http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/articles/4...ed-elmohamady-sunderland-future-contract.htm?
That's a really good article. Nice read. Sunderland zero to Hull City hero in 12 months. The thing that sells that he won't move anywhere but here, is the way he keeps reiterating that he wants to have more success with Hull, and how much respect he has for Brucey, the fans and the players. He'll be our player soon.
It looks like Di Canio has decided Elmo can go....... http://www.sunderlandecho.com/sport...p-chase-for-sunderland-s-elmohamady-1-5721761 ....and Kilgallon's leaving too. Anything to do with you, OLM?
He sounds very positive about a move. http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/spor...ews/ahmed-elmohamady-fired-up-chance-4029731?
I saw that, John - and, when I read this, I thought we'd sorted it out: "Newly-promoted Hull City have confirmed they have agreed a deal with Sunderland's Ahmed Elmohamady"
No chance in hell of Elmo signing for Blackburn Rovers. Only a madman would go there. Sorry Cammy Stewart. OLM is helping move Kills down to Ipswich by all acounts.
And there was the prospect that Paolo Di Canio might look to improve a player who was super-fit and fast at the Stadium of Light but whose crossing ability let him down – the 25-year-old can play at right-back or on the right wing, and the Italian might have fancied him as an overlapping full-back. They had to choose a fault and they chose the best part of his game?
Read it again - you might see this: Hull City are struggling to complete a £2million deal for Sunderland winger Ahmed Elmohamady because they canât agree personal terms with the Egyptian.
Oops! Hah. I just skimmed it and didnt realise. My bad. Elmo is on Int duty at the moment though, he's had countless interviews stating he wants to stay with us, I cant see how we wont agree terms.
