I am more concerned about how much he'll promote the youth. Powell and Januzaj are very promising as is Cole and the Keane brother who plays upfront.
I'd hate for a bad situation a la Chelsea under AVB/Di Matteo where the senior players took control and were running the show.
I don't think we'll have worry about that. The players in our squad don't seem like the power hungry type that will clash with authority. If they do however, Moyes doesn't seem like someone who will lose control of a dressing room.
Surely it is just nerves because of the amount of changes he seems to be making? In reality, how many changes is he actually making? Three? Four? Five? That is not that many from a coaching and management setup of twenty plus people. I think it is more a case of not liking change. I do agree that it seems a bit daft to alter these things but would people rather Moyes be unsure about his working environment or have people he trusts around him? Personally, I don't think you can judge him until he has at least had one full season unless its plain for all to see that its a bad fit, aka Hodgson and Liverpool
WTF...Moyes has in place a winning team and he is not stupid enough to dismantle it or radically change a winning system. Even Tikitaka could win a trophy with that squad. So I am not worried about next season. The test surely will come when he is forced to bring new players when either the established ones retire or move on...We will then see whether his judgement of players and his building of a winning team is as good as his predecessor...
Terry, Lampard, and Drogba. Why do you think they were all dropped when Villa Boas was in charge? As soon as AVB leaves they all magically appear into the starting line ups. There's nothing wrong with having players like that, but AVB got the sack for trying to have a backbone.
