What looked like being an exciting game for us City fans has for me been ruined by there being no inclusion of City players in Ireland's starting 11!

    @FAIreland
Trap's starting XI for #EngIrl tomorrow:
Forde, Coleman, O'Shea, St Ledger, Kelly, Walters, McCarthy, Whelan, McGeady, Keane, Long #COYBIG

I reckon Brady will be coming on though.

It will be all change at HT. I would expect most of the squad will have a run out during the game.

Brady should be in for Walters, McShane is better than St. Ledger too. (Not complaining though)

I suspect they'll get a game in 1 of the 4 games they have in a fortnight.

Tbf, I think we'll see all 4 in the starting XI for the Georgia match at the least.

I don't care who plays for Ireland, they're not my team.

Even if the City players did play i'd still want England to beat them.

Whelan ahead of Quinn and Meyler?

    Walters ahead of Brady?

If City had six players in the ROI starting 11 I'd still want them to get beat.

Can't for one minute understand why any Englishman would want Ireland to win no matter what.

    Same goes for Scotland.

    **** 'em.

Never mind the Irish national team, I don't know how he even manages to keep getting a professional contract in the football league <yikes>

Maybe I coincidentally only see him on bad days but every single time I've watched him he's utter gash and makes some stupid **** up like lashing at thin air with full force.

Biggest donkey since the Paul mcshane of Sunderland <laugh>

    A few observations

1- Good goal from Long. Great Leap, but the defenders we're awful.
2- Our kit really makes us look like Germany
3- Can the Club Wembley lot please leave their "fine dinning" and get back to their seats before they restart the 2nd half. Looks poor on the telly

    Why? You're English.

Would you wish Scotland to beat us if Boyd played for them against us at the end of the summer?

Want England to win, but also our lads to get on and play well and prove they can do it against the big boys.

The connection I feel to City players is a thousand times stronger than how I feel about the national side. Would rather see the lads do well, especially in a meaningless friendly.
