What a fantastic season

Say what you will but if anyone had told us we would be in the play off final and lose in extra time to a penalty by a former Watford player we would have thought they were joking.

Thanks to Zola and the boys for a great season - on a personal note I am now hoping to get to a few matches next year as I will be living much closer. Bet we win more games than we would have in the Prem - and we all know the Championship is a better league and we would really much prefer to be there.

Thanks to some very good and sporting comments from a lot of our rivals - even in the tense run in - Cardiff and Hull spring to mind - perhaps Leicester and Leeds fans could learn from them about sportsmanship.


Hey ho - next season awaits - to be started with a massive amount more optimism than we started this year.

Let this all settle down and then back to the training ground to face Donny and Yoevil away.

It's been a better season that I could have imagined. Bring it on next season. Zola will help the players get over it, I am sure.

Too many of your lads picked the wrong day to not show up. A real shame after some of the football you have played this season.

I think we will be seeing a very different team (again) next season.

Yes and it's so very sporting to give unjustified amounts of abuse to a young player for a mistake. It's also very sporting to blame him for missing out on promotion instead of accepting your team weren't good enough on the day. And it doesn't matter if you personally did not get involved in such pettiness, many of your fans did and therefore you are not in a position to talk about a set of fans and sportsmanship.

Any abuse from our lot you brought on yourselves.
