I wonder if he and Holloway will become a double act.

They were lucky palace near the end, that's twice Watford suffered like us in 1998, play offs should be scrapped, top 3 promoted like the old days.

Totally agree Monty, but the play offs generate so much money, and we all know that the FA are not about to abandon this golden egg.

The reasoning behind the play-offs is actually great for the game, keeping mid-table teams that would be in with no chance of top 3 fighting as they may scrape 6th.

It's a pisser when the 3rd team don't get up, but it does, 100%, keep teams playing, thus making for a better season.

Nothing would give me greater pleasure.

I love the Palace ground - it's a bit like stepping back in time and it has that close to the action feel about it.

Zaha had an awesome game yesterday and must've caught the attention of quite a few. As for Sir Kev returning to the Stadium of Light next season, I can't think of any player who would receive such a huge reception, I'm frothing in my knickers at the thought.

I kind of (to some extent) agree - but the playoffs give some of the lesser teams something to play for - 6th place was occupied by 4 or 5 different teams in the closing stages of the season - if it was top 3 up it simply would've been boring at the end.

As long as we're not in the division, they can keep the play offs for me!!
