Well today has been quieter than bin laden on american warship. So help us out lads, how can we get more response to the forum, There has been nearly two pages of threads today, with a few thousand of views but very little replies to any of them. What can we do to improve it? What do you want to see? It's gonna be a quiet few weeks, and hard pressed for threads if it's only football related, had one sugestion that everyone take a few weeks off, but that was ****. How can we get more input, into the board? or are we all to reserved, and just like to look. I'm sure i speak on behalf of syd, bb, dorset and welder, we would like suggestions on how to make it more active. Please don't just read this thread, have an input. Be heard and let's come up with something. Cheers lads.
there is only so much that we can talk about regarding football and SAFC when there is nothing at all happening, even the rumours for players is pretty tripe atm lol. I have probably been on the toon board more than this one today, they have players i have never even heard off being linked, twitter accounts and facebook accounts gallore for the players (i dont use either so not bothered about that) but it is something else to get our teeth stuck into. its all just rumours and gossip atm, even on the toon board, but they may be loosing Barton/Nolan and getting some European players in, we have got Larson and bothroyd to talk about lol (just not the same really is it)

1st time i checked it today just read the 1st page (well looked) then came away, nice looking yes, but something about celebs in pics just puts me off them tbh (wouldnt say no but i bet they wouldnt look like that in the morning lol) In all honesty though, i just think its this forum (as a whole), I went into the general chat the other day and they were taking the piss something rotton out of a new member that just came into to say hello, he hasnt been back, I posted a thread in there a few months ago about a new banner (ok it wasnt very good lol) but got pasted for it so i never venture into there much, but when i do its something to avoid like the plague, and i know it turns a lot of ppl off. anyway i digress, until the season starts or we get a new player i just havnt got a clue how to get the Sunderland forum jumping, but looking at other forums, apart from the toon, its jumping like crazy so....
Relax, Commachio mate - season's over so not much to natter about until the transfer sagas reach white hot level towards the end of August I reckon. Honestly, I don't think there is much that you or Syd or the mods can do about it other than remind the remaining clubs on 606 that this is the place to be. Cross-forum posting is what will grow Mick's not606.com popularity I reckon, so we need to populate the dead zones.

I'm not concerned TBH, I have popped in and out and find it a struggle to find things to talk about, only so much you can say about Boothroyd. End of season, bank holiday weekend, wind down. Give it a few weeks and things will hot up, until then I will be about every day coz I'm a sad old bugger. Just out of intrest BBC606 had 600 on line, we had 470 and ja606 65 when I did a snap shot.
in the UK its a bank holiday weekend, and the schools are off all next week as well, so a lot would have pissed off for the weekend/week, lucky buggers.

If the football threads are ****e, too many rumours & not enough concrete action, open it up similar to a general forum. Jokes, recommended bars, eateries, hols, etc. How about meets amonst members for a gargle or two. I know there is a general forum but havent seen that many members on there. Sure better ideas will emerge but think it will be quiet for weeks. Hope not. Anything that you guys come up with will get my support. Keep up the good work. Like Syd I'm a sad b*stard who frequents this board most days.
