The record attendance at a Play Off Final is 86703 at Bristol City v Hull City in 2008, will it be broken today at Wembley?

Certainly should be, given both clubs are within spitting distance of the ground.

I would say no, but I would also blame that on the stupidly inflated prices of tickets.

    Just over 82,000.

    Poor.

Proud record in tact for two MASSIVE clubs!

The commentators said every ticket that was put on sale has been sold, it's only the club wembley seats that are empty.

The 'Club Wembley' thing is the reason it'll never beat that.

    Both clubs sold their allocations.

We sold out club Wembley aswell. Didn't it take an hour after going on general sale?

I'm not too fussed about these stats to be honest.

A lot of them are part timers who've never been back.

The ground wasn't sold out, there were plenty of empty seats(mainly in the Watford end).

Club Wembley seats do not normally apply for the Championship play-off game, they're normally sold to the clubs involved, but because of the Olympics, the Charity Shield was moved to Villa Park and today's game became one of the ten annual core events. As a consequence, all Club Wembley seats were counted as sold today.
