    JANUARY 2013

    Tuesday 1st January 2013 - Swansea 2 Aston Villa 2
Villa had conceded 15 goals in their previous 3 games but it was Danny Graham’s 90th minute equaliser that saved a point after a series of missed chances in the first half.

    Sunday 6th January - FA Cup 3rd round - Swansea 2 Arsenal 2
Swansea seem to be heading for a 1-0 win but a frantic finish with 3 goals in the last 10 minutes means a replay.

    Wednesday 9th January - League Cup Semi-Final First Leg - Chelsea 0 Swansea 2
The stand-out game of the season for many I would imagine, as it paved the way for the Wembley appearance. Two mistakes from Ivanovic allow Michu and Graham to score and take a precious 2-0 lead back to the Liberty.

    Saturday 12th January - Everton 0 Swansea 0
Everton fail to score for the first time in 19 league games as we finally take a point off Moyes

    Wednesday 16th January - FA Cup 3rd Round Replay - Arsenal 1 Swansea 0
Not ANOTHER game against Arsenal. Given the imminent League Cup semi-final second leg, this was probably a replay that nobody really wanted. Wilshere scores the winner after 86 minutes.

    Saturday 19th January - Swansea 3 Stoke 1
The busy January schedule continued with a routine victory over Stoke. Ben Davies scores his first goal for the club and de Guzman gets the other two.

    Wednesday 23rd January - League Cup Semi-final second leg - Swansea 0 Chelsea 0
The BIG one. The team keep their nerve to progress to the final, but the game itself will probably be remembered more for the infamous ball-boy incident involving Eden Hazard and Charlie Morgan, son of club director Martin Morgan.

    Tuesday 29th January - Sunderland 0 Swansea 0
Not a great game but probably one that we should have won. Danny Graham makes an appearance off the bench before signing for Sunderland 2 days later.

Some great memories there - particularly walking through the snow for the Chelsea game. I had a leg injury at the time and struggled home from work in the snow. I though "bollocks, I can't go to the game like this". I opened the front door and my son was ready to go. I had to go!!!
