http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/3277/la-liga/2013/05/26/4005892/-? and when the guns fell silent a game of football was played . sorry to interrupt the, (in all honesty) petty bitching points scoring and what ever else takes your fancy . Can the last one leaving switch the lights off Soon it'll be like a famous five book on here cos thats all the numbers who'll be left
So this must be true then - he really is coming. Now all we have to do is find enough domestics make 8 in the squad, especially if we lose Ash. Count me in Bony ... so that makes six.
It certainly sounds positive, although the mention of Swansea is only by the author of the article and not as part of the quotes. I'll take that for now though. Magnificent 7 ok with you guys?
1 down hopefully many more to come Canas will be a great siging IMO. It will mean we can rotate him and Leon and keep both of them fresh .
I won't believe it until he signs for us, seen to many deals scuppered at the last minute. If he does come though be looking forward in seeing how he'll fit into the club.
He will take Leons place mate, not 100% but i think there will be rotation between them two. At times Leon looks a little tired and he isnt getting any older , i think we will see leon play at 100% every game from now on and when he is like that he makes us tick like a swiss watch. Canas gets around the field well and is excellent at breaking up play, Laudrup has the away formation sorted with this lad.we could play him and leon together and drop JDG/ Ki out depending on who we are playing. I must mention Ki quickly. This will be a massive season for him, could he be used (with a bit of coaching) as a centre half ?? i think he could do this job in europe for us quite well as the games will be more tactical than physical , i dont think he could handle it just yet in the prem league though. Either way,we have some nice flexible options and a midfield choice of Ki,JDG,Leon,Michu,Dyer,Routs,Pablo and Canas is as good as anything outside the top 6 imo .
Agree NJ, that is some serious strength in depth there. Also don't forget Kemy too, if he stays and pulls his head out of his arse and fulfills his obvious potential.
I'm not sure he'll be taking Leon's place. In the last few days we have leaned that Britton has been playing with a seriousness injury for a few games and that could account for our poor form in the last few performances of the season. That tells you a lot about how important Leon is to our team. If he's not fully fit we certainly don't play as well as we know we can.
Maybe not just Canas coming from Real Betis http://www.thisissouthwales.co.uk/story-19102796-detail/story.html#axzz2UTiMBAOp
If you're bored , come round to my place , my missus has given me a list of jobs she wants doing ,thats the downside when you send them out to work I suppose
