Says they have apparently agreed(father and son) to turn down money 3 times bigger to go to Swansea instead with a view to developing his game further.

It also says that maybe this news should be taken lightly .

Seems to be plenty of smoke with this one, looks like its going to come down to what the player wants. Strange how all foreign players appear to take a massive pay cut to play for the swans and our lads who we have taken from nowhere cant wait to go the other way !...<laugh>

We will see what happens, i know the club will do their best but we cant compete with the likes of Spurs when it comes to money.

C'mon Laudrup blow us away again !!

    ASSE: AUBAMEYANG HAS CHOSEN SWANSEA?
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang , the attacker AS Saint-Etienne , has a release from the club this summer. The player has repeatedly said he had no plans right now to start a club of European top 5. He first wanted to continue to grow in a qualified intermediary itself. Club

Despite these reasons, it is surprising still to reports in the British press on Saturday. According to the Daily Mail , the player's agent and father, has decided to send his son in the small club Swansea. While the Welsh club won the League Cup this season under the leadership of its Danish manager, Michael Laudrup , but this opportunity to grow in Wales for international Gabonese leaves some questions. 's British newspaper says Pierre Aubameyang, Father Etienne striker, met in London this week Michael Laudrup Coach of Swansea, to confirm that his son was ready to join the ninth Premiership against a salary three times lower than that offered by other clubs who covets. To justify this choice, the newspaper writes that Pierre Aubameyang has always been a fan of the Danes. The explanation seems so unserious and information is to be taken lightly.

It also says he has no plans to go to a top 5 club right now prefering to work and gain his experience and grow at an intermediate club...the Swans <ok>

His father who is advising him is a massive fan of Laudrup, He also played top flight football and Idolised Micheal Laudrup as a player :)
