I just came back from Porthcawl for a day out with my son in the fair. I cant believe what i saw.

We were having food and two men, about 30-40 were fighting. Why you ask? One was a Swans fan and the other was a redbird! That is the only reason. They nearly landed on a bloody pram with a baby in it. People like this give a bad name to football and makes my blood boil.

I know, both are just as bad as eachother. It started by the Cardiff fan going up to him because he was wearing a swans top and he said "You scum". Then it all kicked off. Shamefull

It's an embarrassment to both our clubs. There's no need of it whatsoever <doh>

You answered your own question. It's because the Cardiff fan looked for confrontation end of.

Really? Both were as bad as eachother. If a Cardiff fan did call you a scum would you start a fight where there are loads of kids and women? I thought not.

Did the Swans fan start the confrontation ? If the Bloob says nothing in the 1st place then nothing happens.

No one can comment on what happened because none of us saw it. All I know is if some bellend did that to me I would expect trouble. I dont know how I would react but I do know I wouldn't take a backward step if some tw.at had a go at me because I was a Swans fan, especially if it was nowhere near a football ground and out of the blue

Dilli, Petty point scoring, I can assure you I do not condone his actions, no need for it. Thankfully these types of idiot are in the minority. They are certainly not regarded as Cardiff fans in my circle.

Very strange thread to put up indeed. I don't give a monkeys what teams are involved it could be anyone, the fault lies with the person who started it regardless what team they support.

Would I go up to a Cardiff fan in bloody Porthcawl and call him scum? No I wouldn't. Would for example Sussex do it ? No he wouldn't either.

It's a sorry state of affairs where it comes to blows, hopefully the police got involved and the two will be issued with banning orders unless there is more than meets the eye and one acted in self defence.

childish behaviour from both individuals, the sort of thing you'd expect in a nursery, not amongst grown men.

the argument that its one individuals fault 'he started it miss, honest' is not really the case. if someone called me scum simply because i support a football team, i wouldnt stoop to their level and have a fight over it. hopefully the people on here wouldnt either.

true, if the cardiff fan says nothing, then nothing happens that day, but you're either a violent person or you arent, if not today, then he'd get into a scuffle somewhere down the line.

Yeah childish from both init. one fan probably has been minding his own business and gets set upon by another for no reason other than what top he is wearing so they BOTH get a life ban, all one of them was doing was defending himself. Astounding Logic <ok>

It all comes beack to the same thing, Cardiff redbirds are desperate to make a statement of intent towards Swansea city FC.

Be it on the message boards.
Be it on a bank Holiday weekend, when people are relaxing in places like Porthcawl.
Be it on a celebration of promotion where 10,000 fans and even the players feel the need to sing "you Jack Bastards,we're coming for you.."

You get the picture now guys so don't buy into the crap half of them spew out, they have a major hard on for all things Swansea <ok>
