The New Stoke City Manager

It is all about who can/will/or be prepared to work with the majority of the current squad.
They were assembled at huge cost to play pulisball.

Of the first team squad, at least 8 need replacing!! an expensive job.

I am afraid to say that Hughes fits the bill, although he does like his 'Welsh' mafia with him which may not suit Cartwright.

Who Cartwright by the way, he appears to have gained an awful lot of power/influence over a short period of time.

Hopefully we will hear something this week, i'm wary of Hughes but he may just be a smokescreen to cover someone else.

Hughes just wouldn't make any sense with the new setup geared towards a Head Coach. There's no way Hughes' ego would let him not have full control over first team matters.
