We badly need some quality to give as a boost and Arsenal are looking to shed a centre half, so why not do a deal where both clubs benefit? Football has got by like that for years.

The Mig has been one of the best players we've ever had. Wouldn't blame him for moving on, but really hope we can keep him. Doubt he'll move for more than 10m, even though he's worth more. Hart said he was best keeper in the Prem and judging by our, at times, woeful defending, who can argue? Player of the year without a doubt and destined for the big time. Plus he's only out of nappies and has many years to go

    £20 million + The Ox

Then we can negotiate more from that

Hopefully Liverpool make their move for Begovic first and knowing them it'll be too much but we shouldn't accept a penny less for Mig than Stoke get for Begovic.

Stoke played a binder by signing Butland for £4m in January. As for Mig if the bidding gets to £15m id sell. If we do our scouting properly we could bring in three gems to go straight into the team at no financial loss. Westwood is a good keeper and id like us to bring in a young keeper like we did with mignolet

Are we building a team or nurturing players to sell on? we need to be looking for players who are young and talented like the MIG was/is, get them into our system and then build a team around them. Not build them up and sell, we'll never get anywhere doing that.

Completely this - it is fair to say that Mig is much better than anything that Arsenal have. The only ray of light in this story for me is that it is Wenger who is supposedly sniffing around. How many players has he been linked with down the years only to prevaricate on and on and missing out on deadline day. Mig may still be our number one next season yet!!

Don't want to lose Mig. Said he was open to extending his contract yesterday. Bound to include clauses of money and champions league teams. If he does go wouldn't mind Cesar from QPR. One player who can hold his head up from them.

I don't blame Arsene for going after Mig , he's a great young keeper.

But if we do let Mig go , we need to act like Levy (Spurs) does when selling players and not roll over at the first bid.

I'll be sad if he does go , but the lad is good enough for Champions league and he ain't gonna get that with us.

It'll be a struggle to keep him if I'm honest so we have to give him a deal he can't refuse and quickly.

Will get the regular games or will he be the #2 keeper, if he gets no assurances he may stay imo to get regular guaranteed football and plenty of practice to boot

If Danny graham is worth £5m the the mig must be worth at least £25m

I can't comprehend selling Mig just yet, and neither should the club.

'Ooh look at us, we have one player who was top drawer last season, so we sold him, we're so ****ing ambitious'.

More to this than money, sell Mig, tell the world we are a nothing club.

Keep him for another season at least. His performances will earn league positions on their own
