He's constantly sucking Ashley's cock about how he's got an amazing financial plan and he's a great owner.

I dont think Ashley is forcing him out at all, its just that every time something goes wrong at the club we all jump on the ashley bandwagon

 

I see where you are coming from but not offering this seasons best player (one of) a contract when everyone around him is getting 5 years is definitely forcing something!

 

Ashley is a c*** look at the state of Pardews comments to-day about having to stoke up his interest in developing the club. For f*** sake as owner you have a responsibility if you don't want the club just get out and take that idiot Llambarse with you. Outside the top few teams Joey Barton is one of the best midfielders around and actually wants to play for this club. What is is with Ashley why does he always do the wrong thing.

 

Joey is definitely going to stay for at least a year and with us reportedly withdrawing our interest in Larrson, I can see another new contract on the table.

 

I'm just hoping for a STaylor style Uturn and a new deal brokered next season

Stating the obvious, but it's impossible to understand the way Ashley's mind works. Give or take, over the course of our Championship winning season he got a lot of fans back onside with sensible managment of the club, sorting out the finances and keeping a squad together that was able to romp to the Championship title with ease. All is good. Then fast forward, we've got a quality spine to the side (Enrique, Colo, Tiote, Nolan & Barton) that have all performed well this season and got us a position in the league that we'd all be overjoyed with if offered at the start of the season. However squad moral is now taking a battering as nobody knows that the owner is doing, who's staying, who's going, players that have performed and deserved a new contract not getting one and Ashley seemingle intent on asset stripping. Add to that the sacking of Hughton and the Carroll saga and he's managing the club again in the way that got us relegated just when the future was looking bright. I just hope that the whole Barton contract saga is just agents playing games and he gets a new one, we sign 3/4 good players in the summer and at worst lose Enrique. If we can keep this group together and add to it there's no reason we can't be top 8 next season and I hope Ashley can see that.

 

God I love Barton more with every tweet. What a guy.
