Jermaine Defoe? Obviously we all know about how he departed, but he has gone on to represent England multiple times.
Isn't it a shame that the best we can do out wide in midfield are OK. With the exception of Rob Lee....wasn't he a right midfielder rather than a right sided inside forward?... we have never produced good wingers
Although I was only 17 when I joined Charlton, I don't remember ever playing with the Juniors, so I don't think I count as an "Academy" product even on its widest definition. How about Marvin Hinton and Micky Bailey?
