    For me -

Perch - Not the greatest fullback, but he's a great CDM and a decent CB. He's had his moments, but if you give him the chance to play some games he's usually very reliable. He's not as good as an in form Tiote, but he's consistent, basically like our Phil Neville. Tactically aware and a good tackler. Not a bad passer either. Comfortable on the ball.

Anita - How the **** this little bloke hasn't had more time I'll never know. He's had his shakey games, but for the most part, he's shown that he's easily the best player on the ball in our team, in terms of keeping possession and comfort on the ball. His agility and reactions are great. His passing can be good or poor, but it's usually just average. He's quick to close players down, and deserves more time. He can be made an emergency fullback also, and puts decent balls into the box every now and then.

Marveaux - Sets up good chance, picks out players, and can be very deadly in the middle of the park. Didn't get enough starts IMO. There was no point in playing Sissoko in that CAM role just behind the striker, that's where Marv should be.

    Any other shouts?

P.S. If you say Gosling then you're getting slapped.

Don't full agree he should get more time, but he gets a lot of undeserved stick.

Agree, he played well against benfica and him and colo were winning plenty in the air against QPR. I noticed in the benfica game he tried to cut out alot of the long ball stuff looking to pass on the ground where it could be worked up the field activily asking and looking for people to move into space and look for that pass more often that lumping it up the field(which pardew probbly told him to anyway) shame when he does more blame resides upon his shoulder than the bloke who probably gave him instruction to do that in the first place.

Maybe a view to bring in another good CB (2 if colo goes) if he keeps it up decent enough back up and does get some underserved stick in relation certain others. Had a tendacy to fluff it a bit though if hes put under pressure but if he works to shake that off.

    My vote would be:

New commanding centre back, who is solid, good in the air and organises the defence.

New centre forward who is strong, pacey, can hold the line and scores for fun.

New left mid/wing who tracks back when needed, but going forward can beat the full back and deliver a good cross.

If Perch gets any starts next season, we've had a terrible summer transfer window <ok>

Shane Ferguson used as a winger would make our football better than relying on the defensive-donkey, Jonas, while Marv should have started nearly every game he was fit for.

To be fair, if any of that list get more game time than this season then we've had a terrible summer transfer window (with the possible exception of Anita, who I think is a great little player) and maybe Fergie if he can get himself a bit stronger.

    2012/2013 apps =
    Marv 20 + 16 sub
    Perch 29 + 9 sub
    Anita 27 + 10 sub
    Bigi 12 + 13 sub
    Fergie 7 + 7 sub

Obertan & Shola simply should not play next season!

I only picked the 2, Vurnon Anita and Shane Ferguson. I would like us to loan out Adam Campbell and Gael Bigirimana and also Remie Streete and Sammy Ameobi to the Championship for the season to come back to us stronger and better and perhaps push the first team. From the current crop of players I would have to say Haris Vuckic (if kept fit) and Vurnon Anita and Shane Ferguson should be played amongst the first team. Brad Inman and James Tavernier and Dan Gosling won't become Premier League standard players in my opinion and should be moved on, Inman would benefit a mid-table SPL team whilst Dan Gosling would suit the Championship and Tav could do well for a good League One club.

Anita, Bigi, Fergie from that list. Campbell would have been on though. If Marveaux could manage to stay fit for more one minute, then him too, particularly at home.
