They may well have. It's still very subjective though isn't it? You can't choose your opposition and in sport, it's about winning when int matters. If one team plays the right tactics and doesn't bribe the ref and goes on to win the final, then they deserve to win, whoever it is. I think Wigan played better football than Sunderland, Stoke and West ham but that doesn't mean they didn't deserve to go down.

I can't see the video on the computer I am on, but I take it that is the video of the rival fans knocking each other about outside Wembley? Agree it's a shame, and a bit of a worry if it's like that at mid-day, what are they going to be like after another 10 hours of drinking after the game?

Those 'fans' were not seriously fighting...just being stupid and a nuisance. The police were right to keep it light. Too often police abroad are baton happy and start trouble that would otherwise fizzle out.
