Having been trained at Arsenal he should be well disciplined. My only concern is all the talk of 1st team football, as if he does not get it straight away (which it sounds like he is expecting) will he throw a strop and want away? I hope not, however he left a hugh club in Arsenal as they could not commit to that, so if we cannot give it to him, he will be off in a shot. Wonder what Marv, Kille and Liam Kelly are thinking about all this 1st team talk???
A pinch of salt on that statement for me when you look at who made it, a head of an a football Agency!!! If it was Pat Rice or Arsene then that would make me take a lot of notice. He should bring some much needed youth and energy to the midfield so I am pretty excited.
Killa is probably already looking for a way out - In his interview though he says he HOPES to be in the first team and to be honest he could well be. Marvin might or might not stay if he is offered a way back to the championship do you think he will stay?
I highlighted too much. Yes I realise that whoever made this statement has some vested interest in JW. But the fact that he may be able to play in the back four is an added bonus. I believe that in modern football, there are only three specialist positions. Goalkeeper for obvious reasons. Dominating, ball winning, centre back. Out and out goalscorers. eg Brett Pitman. The rest should all be good enough and capable of playing almost anywhere on the pitch especially as the game now is so fluid and fast.
Probably full backs as well as it's usually better to have a left footed left back and a right footed right back makes it somewhat easier if you are trying to keep the opposing player out wide.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_4ag-7m9b3U Twelve minutes of Arsenal v West Ham U18s. Have a gander at our new defensive midfielder and make up your own minds.
Just about to watch.. I scrolled down the comments and saw.. Samir Bihmoutine is garbage. So are Jordan Wynter and Elton Monteiro. One persons opinion though..
Just watched it, didn't really see much of him to be honest.. And regarding the game, I see it runs through the whole arsenal set up that they over play everything!!
He touched the ball about 7 times in that clip 1 blocked cross, 1 good cross, 4 passes that found teammates and once played into trouble by his own keeper but he appeared to keep running for the whole game as the crosses were at the end of the game.
