    Me... I'll do a spot of gardening... drink some beer... run some miles and probably have a few BBQ's with family and friends.

    The price of a pint in a pub these days it can work out cheaper to buy a crate from Tesco, plus some horse burgers and enjoy the summer... assuming if course the sun makes a prelonged appearance.

    I might move my treadmill out onto the garden patio, do some working out on the days when it's sunny.

    I aint gonna rely on the weather to hold up which is why I got my treadmill in the first place.

    :) Some serious sweat will be spilled.

    I'm setting up the village Alan Pardew appreciation society and we'll meet every Friday night in the local and toast the great man....<ale>

    The landlord has already installed 'Pardew bitter ' for the anti Pardew lobby from the neighbouring village" Shortmemoriesville " whilst we will sup copious amounts of ' Alan's finest ' and regale them with stories of our fifth place and quarter final appearance.

    My Summer targets are: Get work under a decent company where I will learn more about my trade
    Renovate my back garden
    Put on an extra 3 pounds of muscle
    Lose 14 lbs of body fat

    That's about it.

    I'm a Mountain Leader, so I'll be In Kenya leading a team of teenagers through 3 weeks of community project work and 10 days climbing Mount Kenya. Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure our football kickabouts with the local village lads will demonstrate far more skill, creativity and commitment than the dross Pardew will serve up next season...
