@bbcburnsy: Not sure about this one coz #hcafc have twice batted me away but name has come up again, Jonathan Viera Ramos, midfielder at Valencia. Anyone have any more info on the guy?
23 year old attacking midfielder, only signed by Valencia(from Las Palmas in the Canary Islands) ahead of last season, he played 12 scoring twice this season.
according to transfermarkt he has played 17 games, scoring three times and is valued at about 3.5 million euros.
Cheers for a sensible answer OLM - just waiting for the kids to get home from school now and put his fifa stats up.
His playing style reminds me a bit of Jordi Gomez at Wigan, but I've only seen him twice on TV so I cant say any more than that.
Difficult to tell from youtube clips but he looks technically very good, as you would expect from a spaniard, and he plays with his head up. Reminds me a bit of Geovanni......wonder what he's like in Winter!!!
OMG, its Geovanni when he was younger. Lol. Looks to have nice passing ability and able to play that killer ball into where it matters most. Aluko could well benefit most from a player like this. At the right price why not ? imo
Jonathan Viera Ramos, midfielder at Valencia. I like the thought of having a """Viera""" in the squad but not a Ramos. Reminds me of the Spurs Ramos who we saw off after Geo's winner back in 2008.
Go ahead and explain, both are using information that can be updated by random people (correct me if I'm wrong, I guess big companies like EA might employ people for this kind of thing)
The same Ramos that won the Uefa Cup twice in a row with Sevilla and won a trophy in his first season at Spurs?
If you're going to get a grasp for what kind of player he is at least use football manager, FIFA is lazy and complete total bollocks. FIFA reckons fryatt is faster than gedo.
I'm with James on this one. Wikipedia is regularly wrong. I woulldn't rely on it for anything other than basic information.
As I've said in the past, I play neither of them. I just noticed people complaining about people using Football Manager and FIFA as a way to get information about players.
