i would advise any word or promotion of intended action by posters on here , should refrain from doing so, the consequences of such remarks
could lead to a court of law.

remember the poster who in a rage posted an article concerning the london riots two years ago.

Tim Berners Lee invented the internet.

Bill Gates just invented a really crap bloated OS but pulled the wool over IBMs eyes and made a fortune.

Just dont say anything stupid on the internet and you will be fine, it is the same as phone lines say Bomb or other words and they do get flagged, doesnt mean you will have the CIA/MI5 knocking down your door though.

You can most certainly be held to account for things you put on an Internet forum, and could even face prosecution if it is deemed racist or hateful towards certain sections of society; so Stu does have a point..

    thanks

its easier for the powers to be to punish this sort of thing in this climate, than to address the real problems , all im saying is to the posters on here be selective in words and do not suggest actions.
A couple of posters on here could fall foul if not carefull.

I was in Tesco the other day, couldn't find any Sunderland stew but the beef stew was on offer, two tins for £1.50. I bought 4 tins because I fancied something warm and I think its healthier than fried food like fish and chips.

It also depends where you post things.

Twitter/Facebook you will get ****ed as they are huge companies who have to abide by the law and bend over backwards to help law enforcement. They are usually people to people, you call someone on it then the other person is going to report you for it, if the law want you they will shop you.

4chan/not606 (to an extent)/others do not have to bend over backwards, the law wont be too bothered about them (not606 anyway) just look at general chat to see that and 4chan is just terrible for crap. if the law want you they will probably tell them to **** off.

Law enforcement have no idea who wrote a post without help from the website admin as they will have a record of your IPs and which IP made the post, so its the website that gives you up, not huge detective work by law enforcement to uncover who you are.

you my friend are as much right as you are wrong, if thats what you think fair enough, my opinions differ.
at the moment the so called cloud is regulated(as if) when it gets deregulated ,which wont be long i can assure you, safe storage , no such thing,if you view any site as safe your confidence is greater than mine.
i do not want an argument about it , be warned be in control of your anger when posting

Im not angry but i have ran my own website for 10 years and its not entirely legal (bittorrent tracker for games) the server is in Canada but it has been in Sweden, Germany, Hong kong previously, I even ran it on my home PC for 2 years when I first started it.

I havnt heard BOO from a goose about it, if someone posted something on my site then the law enforcement would HAVE to get my permission for their IP, if I said no there isnt a lot they can do about it tbh.

as for the cloud, meh pie in the skie bollocks, the net will never 100% be in the cloud neither will everyones personal crap that they have, I wouldnt trust anything in the cloud, but some big companies do use it, up to them but it will never ever cover 100% of storage and never 100% of websites.

So you stop scaremongering. and you get real.
