the ammount of times he has wasted chances and attacking moves because he had to use his left foot rather than playing a quick ball with his right was what i was saying. bruce should have him train just passing and shooting with his right foot and i think it would improve he game
Andy Dawson's the most one footed player we ever had and he managed to last ten years. Most left footed players are completely one footed, it's what he does with his good foot that matters.
thats the difference andy dawson has been class over the years and like you say its what he does with his good foot that matters and for the past couple of seasons for TC thats fk all. dont get me wrong when he first appeared in the team when we were last in the prem i thought we had a gem but to me he hasnt progressed
Tbh Cairney has been around for a while now and has had his chances... he's also had injuries granted but he really does come across as a kid with a big ego (don't blame him when you hear rumours of liverpool and everton wanting you) I think if he was as good as some people say on here, he'd have been number 1 choice in midfield by at least one of the last 3/4 managers... yet he hasn't. Probably worth giving him a couple games and see if the PL suits him but for a young player to only put a shift when it's against the big teams, is not exactly a good mental attitude. He's slow, which is surprising for a young player, and rarely makes something happen on his own. He seems to pass off responsibility most of the time (hence the whole sideways passing reputation). I won't miss him if he goes. He's had his chances
