There are no rumours about the Swans being interested in this guy but would you like to see him play with us, I have always been an admirer and he is a source of goals, as well as an occasional provider. Spurs might be letting him go this summer plus being an American, great publicity.
Who says they are letting him go? He's not been there that long. High wages I should imagine and didn't exactly cover himself in glory the way he left Fulham. Good player though.
I thought he was terrific with Fulham,but hasn't set the World alight since he left them. Too expensive for us,anyway.
He had a similar impact for us as Michu had for you guys this year. I'm not sure whether you could play them together (both seem to be attacking minded midfielders with an eye for goal, rather than strikers), but I think Dempsey would certainly be a good signing. I don't think he'll leave Spurs though. Plenty of worse players for them to ship out first.
On the Radio earlier and i know it is only talk. Is that they are ready to ship him out along with Adebeyor as both have had little or no impact.
After the way he behaved when he wanted to leave Fulham I have to say I wouldn't want him at our club. Had a decent season at Fulham last year but has been pants for Spurs this season compared to how he was the previous season.
those who wants high wages please look elsewhere......only those who want good wages and want to play for the team need apply...
Sorry he doesn't float my boat. His wages will be bloody silly. I'm sure there's better value out there.
