Lifted from the BBC website; FOOTBALL Veteran Fulham goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer, 40, says he wants to continue in the Premier League. "I can say now that I haven't had any official offer of a new contract. My contract obviously expires at the end of June and we'll see what happens from there," says the Australian, who joined Fulham in 2008 after 11 years with Middlesbrough. "To stay in the Premier League would be great. I think I have done everything I possibly can to show that I am more than capable of playing at this level."
I don't think he'll struggle for a new club. He made his Fulham debut in our first Premier league match.
It's good for us whatever happens as long as he stays in the PL. If he stays at Fulham we have more chance of getting Stockdale and if he moves to another PL club it is either to us or to someone else which means we either have I less competitor for a top level keeper or its starts the chain of movements opening up potential keeper targets for us.
he probably wouldnt mind relocating to hull as he spent 12 years at boro and played for bradford before that so he will be aware of the grimness
